A Midsummer Daydream at North Star House

The Midsummer Daydream Festival is designed as a family-friendly day of wonder that will bring together magicians, fairies, costumes, games, creative activities, and community fun across the historic North Star House grounds. The event will be held on July 11th from 11am-4pm. Guests of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their most whimsical attire, whether that means fairy wings, woodland costumes, storybook-inspired outfits, or simply something fun and festive.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live magic shows in the courtyard, wandering magicians, a costume parade, face painting, games, a scavenger hunt, bubbles in the garden, and more. The Heritage Garden will become a fairy-filled gathering space, while the East Lawn will host activities, booths, and hands-on fun for families. View the full activity list below.

The event is not designed as a major fundraiser, but as a way to welcome the community onto the property, introduce new visitors to North Star House, and create a joyful summer gathering that feels playful, memorable, and accessible.

Admission is $5, with proceeds split with the participating magicians. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds, take part in activities, enjoy performances, and experience the magic of North Star House in a new way.
