Community Game Day is a simple reminder of why North Star House exists—not just as a historic space, but as a place meant to be used, shared, and enjoyed.

Families, friends, and neighbors gathered throughout the house on January 18th to play board games, card games, and puzzles, filling the rooms with conversation and laughter. People came and went at their own pace, but everyone participated in the same spirit of connection.
Events like Community Game Day allow people to experience North Star House in a relaxed, welcoming way. By opening the house for simple, low-pressure gatherings, we create opportunities for the community to engage with the space while supporting its continued care and restoration.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day feel easy, inclusive, and genuinely fun. Community Game Day is one small example of how North Star House continues to grow as a shared gathering place for all.
The next Community Game Day will take place Saturday, February 21, from 1–4 PM. All ages are welcome, and guests are encouraged to stop by for any portion of the afternoon. RSVP to let us know which games you hope to see.
