For over 15 years, Carole Miller poured her heart into the North Star House — and now, she’s sharing that story.
In our latest video, Carole reflects on her time as a volunteer from 2005 to 2020. She talks about how it all began, the early challenges, and the team of passionate volunteers who worked alongside her to bring the property back to life. From founding the Historic Research Committee to organizing the Rose Team and documenting every plant on the grounds, Carole’s work helped lay the foundation for how we care for the site today.
Set against footage of the gardens and grounds she helped restore, the video is a quiet, heartfelt look at what it means to show up, dig in, and help something beautiful grow. We’re honored to share her story, and grateful for all that she’s done.
