This Mother’s Day, the North Star House was filled with flowers, tea, conversation, and the warmth of community as guests gathered for our Mother’s Day Tea.

The afternoon brought together mothers, daughters, families, friends, and supporters for a special celebration inside the historic North Star House. Guests enjoyed tea, light refreshments, and time together in a setting that made the day feel both meaningful and memorable.
This event was especially exciting because it was our first year hosting the Mother’s Day Tea, and we were so grateful to see such a wonderful response from the community. The tea sold out, making it clear that this is something our supporters would love to see continue in the future.

Events like this help bring life back into the house in a way that honors its history as a gathering place. Every ticket purchased, every volunteer hour given, and every guest who attends helps support the continued care and restoration of the North Star House.
We are so thankful to everyone who joined us, helped prepare, volunteered, decorated, served, cleaned up, and supported the event in any way. A special thank you goes to the volunteers who made the afternoon feel welcoming and beautiful from start to finish.
We look forward to continuing to create events that bring people together, celebrate community, and support the future of the North Star House.
Thank you for spending part of Mother’s Day weekend
with us.
