The Wiley wedding took place at North Star House on May 2, 2026. The couple made great use of the property throughout the day, with photos inside the house, around the grounds, and against many of its original architectural details.
Mountain Time Photography photographed the wedding and did a beautiful job showing both the couple and the setting. The house is clearly part of the gallery, which we appreciate, but the photos still feel natural and focused on the day itself.
A Historic Setting With Plenty of Variety
North Star House offers several different looks in one location.
The stone walls and wood details create a warmer, more historic feel, while the lawns and outdoor spaces give couples room for wider portraits and group photos. The interior rooms add another option for quieter moments and getting-ready photos.
The Wiley wedding used that variety well. Their gallery moves naturally between indoor and outdoor spaces while still feeling consistent from beginning to end, and these are only from the sneak peek album!
We appreciate the Wiley couple choosing North Star House for their spring wedding and making the property such a visible part of their photos. We would also like to extend a special thank-you to Max Wiley, a local Nevada City firefighter, for his service to our community.
